BAM! Three days to go and my last journal-entry would have been on this side for one god-damn year. A lot of things changed in this one, ultra-short year so I finally decided to let you guys know about it. It just was about time to get active on here again!

First of all: Hell yes! I made it to 10,000 viewers in the meantime so thank you everybody (SO MUCH!) for visiting my page and for probably have taken part on what I was doing (even if it was close to nothing in the last twelve months)

It's much appreciated! - Always!

Second: I finally found a job in my Hometown (practical training - if that's the correct word). Will keep doing this for one whole year and after that I finally can start studying. Hopefully Photo design.

Third: I bought some new stuff and spend a lot of money for some new equipment xD - Details in "Equipment"

Well, as I already said I started with my career as a photographer *cough* Ok,ok... At least I'm working on it - right now at "Atelier für Fotografie Golz" in Hamm - a portrait and wedding photostudio.

For me this job means a lot because it is my ticket to university. Not yet talking about all the things I will learn about people-photography! This is one of my most-ignored categories so far and probably now you will get to see one of this kind in my gallery very soon

Yeah, even on this thread I have spend a lot of time... eahm I mean money. :S Why the heck is it so expensive to get some better stuff? Heh?

Anyways, I bought a Canon 7D + battery grab, a Canon 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM IS (and soon some better CF-cards) to get some high-quality equipment at least. 7D has not a fullframe sensor, but spending 600 more for the 5Dmk2 was a bit over my possibilities - unfortunately.

But hey, I'm happy! The 7D is a really, really great camera! In combination with my old equipment I finally have this, a Metz 58, a 50mm f/1.8 steady focallenth glass and a (BAD) EF-S 17-55mm zoom - wish I had a EF 24-70mm 2.8L ISM - but... later!

Wishes... fullfill one, get two for free!
